The CYPRUS POTATO MARKETING BOARD is a semi-public
organisation and was established by Law in 1964. The main purpose of CPMB is to develop the Cyprus potato industry. The
monopolistic structure of CPMB was removed after
Cyprus joined the EU on the 1st of May 2004. CPMB
continues to be the main exporter of Cyprus potatoes having a share of 50% of
the total annual exports of Cyprus potatoes.CPMB can offer among others:(a) Constant and long
term supply of fresh potatoes from the 15th of November to the 30th of June
every year.(b) Export quantities amounts to 30.000-35.000 tones
annually.© All potatoes are GLOBALGAP certified.(d) All potatoes have
the specific taste of red soil production.(e) We can produce the varieties
any customer requires.CPMB co-operates
with:(a) The Pancyprian Organization of Potato Growers (POP) that
numbers almost 900 members. (b) “KYP.E.P” that numbers almost 100 members.

groups covering all stages of production and marketing of high quality potatoes
